From GRA to Dissertation to Post-Doc to Faculty: Developing
a Successful Research Agenda

This
panel will highlight ways doctoral students can successfully
develop and refine their skills as they start on the
path towards becoming a research scholar. Panelists
will discuss ways to utilize Graduate Research Assistantships
(GRA's) to foster independent research in the dissertation,
as well as present the benefits of post-doctoral fellowships.
Skills needed to refine and carry out a consistent research
agenda as a junior faculty will also be offered. International
students' unique circumstances on securing post-doc
and faculty positions will be highlighted.
